Meet the Artist

Artist and Zwaanendael Museum Lead Historical Interpreter Mark Wilson will showcase his illustrations of Native Americans from Delaware during the American Revolutionary War. Learn about his research, and the service of Native Americans on both sides during the war. View the display on the first floor of the Zwaanendael Museum. 

Mark Wilson has hand drawn over 55 illustrations of Delawareans who fought during the Revolutionary War. Each illustration highlights the soldiers, sailors, and civilians who were part of the Revolutionary War. View the series on the Zwaanendael Museum’s Facebook page.
