National Park Service grants

African American Civil Rights Grants
Program provides assistance in documenting, interpreting and preserving the sites and stories of the full history of the African American struggle to gain equal rights as citizens. Funding available in both the preservation and history categories. Deadline for both categories: Dec. 1, 2021

History of Equal Rights Grant Program
Preservation grants help preserve sites related to the struggle of all Americans to achieve equal rights. Deadline: Dec. 1, 2021

Save America’s Treasures Grants
Program provides assistance to nationally significant historic properties and collections. Funding available in both the preservation and collections categories. Deadline for both categories: Dec. 14, 2021

Underrepresented Community Grants
Program serves the mission of diversifying the sites listed in the National Register of Historic Places to include communities that are currently underrepresented. Deadline: Jan. 11, 2022

Delaware Preservation Fund grants and loans

The Delaware Preservation Fund, an affiliate of Preservation Delaware, is dedicated to the preservation of the historic built-environment in Delaware. The fund’s Small Grants Program supports qualified improvements to historic properties with grants of $1,000 to $5,000.
