Between July 8 and 15, 2020, the Zwaanendael Museum in Lewes, Del. will be sponsoring an online photo contest entitled “Uniquely Lewes.” The contest is open to amateur photographers above the age of 13 who are encouraged to submit photos of what they think makes Lewes unique.
Photographers who are interested in submitting their images to the contest should visit the Zwaanendael Museum’s Facebook page beginning on July 8, 2020 where they can complete the Google application-form and attach their photograph (limit of one photograph per applicant) by the deadline of July 15, 2020.
A maximum of 25 photos will be selected for participation in the contest. These selected photos will be posted on the museum’s Facebook page where followers will be asked to “vote” for the winning photographs by “liking” or reacting to the individual photos. Votes will be collected for one week from July 16 to 23, 2020. The three photos with the top number of reactions will be deemed the first-, second- and third-place winners and will be awarded corresponding prizes. The three winning photographs will also be printed and displayed in the outdoor kiosk next to the museum on Kings Highway.
