Qualified Delaware humanities-based organizations facing financial hardship due to the coronavirus may apply for up to $10,000 in operating-expense support through the CARES Act Recover Grants Program. Applications will be accepted from May 1 to 15, 2020. Qualified museums and historic sites are among the types of organizations that are eligible to apply. Universities, colleges, K-12 institutions, government agencies, religious organizations and individuals are ineligible.

Administered by Delaware Humanities, the program is part of the $2.2 trillion CARES Act economic stabilization plan appropriated by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Trump.
