CORRECTION–‘African Americans on the Eastern Shore’ lecture at Lewes Public Library on Feb. 15, 2020

-Due to high demand, program moved from the Zwaanendael Museum to the Lewes Public Library-

“African Americans on the Eastern Shore,” a lecture by Jim Blackwell of the Seaford Museum, will be presented on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room West of the Lewes Public Library located at 111 Adams Ave. in Lewes, Del. Sponsored by the Zwaanendael Museum in celebration of African American History Month, the program will explore Eastern Shore history, slavery, the Ross family and Harriet Tubman. Admission is free but, due to space restrictions, reservations are required by calling 302-645-1148 no later than Feb. 14, 2020. Note: Due to overwhelming demand, the venue has been moved from the Zwaanendael Museum to the Lewes Public Library.
