Commenting on his experiences during the volunteer session, Edward McWilliams noted that the staff members of the Delaware Veterans Home were “very courteous and appreciative of our volunteer efforts. … It was a humbling experience for me personally to be able to provide assistance to some of the veterans in order that they could participate socially to play bingo. I believe it was a great honor for division staff to visit and engage with these brave Americans.”
