The Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs has an immediate opening for an experienced, creative and innovative team member to provide direction, support and management of education services within the State Of Delaware’s five museums. This position is responsible for working with the Historic Sites Team staff, under the direction of the Historic Sites Program Manager, to plan and develop educational programs and activities including K-12 school programs.
This position will work with the Historic Sites Program Manager in the development of the division’s interpretive plan and insure that program research, development and evaluation are conducted according to nationally accepted best practices and standards.
This is a full-time position with the State of Delaware. The position is classified as Curator, which encompasses, within the State of Delaware classification system, a full range of curatorial positions. This particular position will perform the duties of a curator of education focusing on programming activities.
